Career seminar held at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology initiative by bdJobs's. This seminar was conducted in two episodes of discussion and question-answer session on "Employers Expectations from the Aspiring Candidates" in front of this theme. Around 600 students took part in this seminar organized at the BAUF's permanent campus. Professor Dr. Abu Raihan was present as the chief guest. He said such panel disks will play an important role for new job candidates. In the first phase of the seminar, the speakers gave directional instructions to the students by highlighting the past and present situation of their organizations. Besides, they also give students the idea of policies and recruitment processes in various institutions. In the second phase of the seminar, the respondents responded to the questions of the students about how the fresher’s will create themselves in the market. The students gave directional instructions on how to prepare a job application form and give some importance to employment. Many students want to know that if there are no influential relatives in the present scenario, then the job will become distant and how will they prepare themselves? Talkers said there is no alternative to merit and qualification. There is no reason to think that there will be no job if there is only a relative. International Conference on German Bangladesh Higher Education Network on Sustainable Textiles (HEST) held in Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)

Prof. Khan attended in the Conference as an Expert.
BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted students of Spring Semester 2019 on February 13, 2019. The event, designed for B.Sc (Hons) in AMT, FDT, KMT, TE, TEM,IE, English, BBA and Bachelor Programmes, was held on the university's main campus at Nishatnagar under Turag in Dhaka. Mr. Tipu Munshi, MP, Hon'ble Commerce Minister, Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh & Founder Member, Board of Trustees, BUFT was present at the function as the chief guest. The chief guest gave special emphasis on developing new students as enlightened and capable people for the country. The function chaired by Mr. Muzaffar U. Siddique, Founder Chairman, Board of Trustees of BUFT. Mr. Siddique gave the flower bouquet and crest to the Chief Guest of the programme. Others Founder Members of Board of Trustees, BUFT Mr. Md.
